This lesson taught me how to do seamless backgrounds, as well as gradients. From the main image I selected 5 colors.

Then I created the gradient using those 5 colors.
I also created the background image. To do this I used the second lightest color and did the swirl effect in Eye Candy 3.0. I then used the Simple Filter Quick Tile to make it seamless.
Finally I created a plain image using the lightest of my five colors.
The effects of this is what you are now seeing on this page.
